This rear can be made to accomodate your stock rear drum brakes. We provide you with retainer plates and these axles bolt in with the 9" press on bearing style housing ends. The 4 bolt spread is like an early Camaro, Chevelle, Nova style drum backing plate. Contact us if you have questions. This requires opening the hole in your backing plate for the 3.150" OD bearing to pass through.
Second, this rear can also be setup for the industry standard Big Ford New Style Torino Housing end, also know as the Late Ford. Want to use your own aftermarket brake kit? Give the disc brake supplier the following information:

- 3.562 x 2.000" Spread with 3/8" holes
- 2 1/2" Brake offset
- 2.771" Hub
- 5.850" Flange OD
- Access holes

12 bolt internals are 12 bolt passenger car spec. Axle bearings are RW508 or 88128 1 piece ball bearings found at any part store. 3.150" OD x 1.531" ID
We recommend Lucas 80/90 non-synthetic with no additives with Truetrac differentials.
If you would like to narrow this rear, do a different powdercoat color, add a second bolt pattern, switch to larger axles, use a differnt posi, buy a fully asssembled rear end, hold the shipment at your local terminal, we can accommodate your needs. You can expect a 5-7 day lead time for powder coated Moser rear ends.
